Today we meet nifty Nikki from our marvellous Medway Club.
How long have you worked for us?
How long have you been a manager?
I’ve been a GM for 6 years and before that, I have been a Hospitality COM, COM Operations and Deputy Manager. That means I have management experience of 15 years. I started as a team member at the Clapham Club when I was 18 years old.
What’s the best thing about your club?
It looks lovely and the location on the Medway River is stunning, it’s a very sociable club and the team really know their customers. Everyone is friendly and obviously, we deliver the best service and prize money!
What’s the most exciting thing that has happened while you’ve been a manager?
When I was the GM at Dover my assistant manager took a picture of a guy holding an umbrella over a dog in the rain. He gave the guy one of our branded umbrellas and it featured across the world and made the This Morning TV show.
Why should people come to your club?
For a fun night out with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, great value for money, excellent prize money plus they get to see our lovely club on the River Medway.
What are your favourite hobbies?
I love playing bingo, drawing (I’m rubbish at it) and walking my dog Diesel who is an American Akita.
Hamster sized hippo or hippo sized hamster?
Hamster sized Hippo
What’s your biggest fear?
Being stuck in a lift, or small spaces
What’s your karaoke song?
Kylie Minogue – Love At First Sight (I don’t know why.)
What’s your hidden talent?
No hidden talents
If you could be on any TV show what would it be and why?
It would have to be a reality TV show, but I love them all! I think Gogglebox as I can overreact to what’s on TV, which would be very entertaining or if it was a soap, Eastenders! As I am a Londoner and I would want to be the new landlady of the Queen Vic! Get out of my pub 🙂
What would be your specialist subject on Mastermind?
Reality TV, I love it!
Thanks for answering our questions Nikki. We’re sure your drawing is actually brilliant and it’s your secret hidden talent. We’re going to need you to show it to us sometime.
